Secretary Warner reveals the logo for the West Virginia Office of Entrepreneurship
Charleston, W.Va. - WV Secretary of State Kris Warner unveiled the new logo for the West Virginia Office of Entrepreneurship (WVOE), marking a milestone in the Office's effort to build a brand shaped by entrepreneurs and communities throughout West Virginia.
Entrepreneurs, designers, and community members submitted ideas to help shape the Office's visual identity.
Secretary Warner said, "One of the most common themes in the submissions was the gear, a symbol of momentum, and hard work. It represents the grit and determination of West Virginia entrepreneurs who are turning ideas into reality every single day."

Visible within the gear, is the seal of the West Virginia Secretary of State's Office. It connects the WVOE mission to the history and heritage of the Mountain State.
The farmer represents growth. The miner symbolizes hard work. The boulder reflects the determination and strength that have helped shape West Virginia.
WVOE Coordinator Lesli Taylor said, "Together, these symbols tell a story of hard work, resilience, opportunity, and progress."
The WVOE was launched in July and exists to serve as the State's representative for entrepreneurs and small business owners by filling the gap between government requirements and what the private sector needs to be successful in new business creation and sustainable growth.
